While I was walking this 5 K thing today there was a woman who had a huge polar bear cut-out, and as we started the race/walk/run she said that she was using it to make a point to save the polar bears.
But what I thought is that if she REALLY wanted to get people to think about saving the polar bears, she should make it be a dead polar bear. Not that I have anything against live polar bears.

SSC, that may have been one of the Mad Town Liberty Players! And they agree with you because all the polar bears do die at the end of their piece. So what you probably saw was actually a resurrected, soon-to-be-rekilled polar bear.
